That is championship form and they have been spearheaded by striker Lautaro Martinez, who has a sublime record in front of goal.

He has scored 19 goals in 19 appearances this season and he has been unstoppable for the majority of Serie A clubs. Martinez netted in the draw between the two clubs in November and he can punish Juve once again this weekend.

With so much at stake on Sunday, most would expect a fiery encounter between two passionate teams. Inter have picked up the fewest yellow cards in Serie A all season, only collecting 29, while Juventus sit 11th in that department.

There have been fewer than five cards in each of the last three meetings and we expect that trend to continue, even though there is so much on the line. Garcia lasted until mid-November, by which point Napoli were fourth in the table and 10 points adrift of top spot.

Things have only grown worse since then. Going into the weekend, the gap to Inter at the summit of the standings stands at 29 points. Napoli are way down in ninth place. They are now onto their third manager of the campaign. The hope was that Walter Mazzarri would steady the ship before handing over to a successor in the summer.

However, things got so bad under the veteran Italian that Napoli had to act. Francesco Calzona, who is also the head coach of the Slovakia national team, is the new man in the dugout at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

Getting Napoli into Europe is the aim. The Champions League is not completely out of reach. Napoli will be looking to keep their slim Champions League hopes alive by overcoming Juventus this weekend.

Juventus are almost certainly out of the Serie A title race. They trail Inter by 12 points, a sizable margin at any stage of the season - but particularly as we enter March. A defeat by the Nerazzurri at San Siro at the beginning of February handed the advantage to Inter.

Juve then proceeded to lose and draw their next two games, before a not-entirely-convincing victory over Frosinone last time out, as Daniele Rugani notched the winner in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time.

Claim Free Bets. That was a rare high-scoring encounter involving Juve. Fifteen of their 26 Serie A games so far have featured two goals or fewer - a surprisingly high ratio for a team with title aspirations. Max Allegri is a cautious coach, much to the frustration of a large section of the Juve fan base.

The atmosphere in the stands is likely to be feisty long before kick-off - Napoli and Juventus are not especially fond of one another - but we should not expect a particularly fast start on the pitch. With that in mind, more goals in the second half would be an astute selection. Juventus have scored 24 goals after half-time compared to 17 before it.

They have found wins and goals hard to come by in recent weeks as their stumbling season continues. Their most recent outing saw them take on Cagliari, in which they tied Victor Osimhen broke the deadlock but Cagliari netted a 96th-minute equaliser to snatch a point.

This followed a return to Champions League action, with a last 16 first leg tie with Barcelona also ending Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring for the visitors on the hour mark, but Osimhen equalised 15 minutes later. The draw means that it is all to play for in the second leg at the Nou Camp.

Napoli picked up another draw in the league, this time against Genoa, who are just a few places below them. However, they were fortunate not to leave empty-handed, as Cyril Ngonge scored a 90th-minute leveller to salvage a point for the hosts.

A trip to the San Siro ended in defeat against AC Milan, a game in which they enjoyed more possession but conceded the winner to Theo Hernandez in the first half.

The first game of this stretch was a victory at home to relegation-battling Verona. The visitors had actually taken the lead late in the second half as they looked to cause an upset. This hope was short-lived, though, as Pawel Dawidowicz cancelled out the opener shortly after.

Napoli then snatched maximum points through Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, with three minutes remaining. On Wednesday night, Napoli managed a sensational win away at Sassuolo; as despite falling behind to a 17th-minute Uros Racic strike, goals from Amir Rrahmani, Victor Osimhen 3 and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia 2 gave Francesco Calzona his first victory in charge of the Naples club.

In their last five games, Juventus have won one, drawn two and lost two. The Old Lady endured a difficult stretch of form before they beat Frosinone at the weekend.

They have struggled for wins as of late, but picked up a massive one as Daniele Rugani scored a 95th-minute goal to snatch all three points.

Dusan Vlahovic opened the scoring before the visitors turned it around. The Serbian quickly responded with his second before the late winner. This period of fixtures began with a home game against mid-table Empoli, who came to the Allianz Stadium and left with a point. They did end up taking the lead through Vlahovic, though they were not able to hang on as Tommaso Baldanzi equalised with 20 minutes to go.

A huge top-of-the-table clash at Inter Milan followed, but they fell further behind the league leaders, who won thanks to an own goal from Federico Gatti. The winless streak continued at home to Udinese. Lautaro Giannetti netted the winner midway through the first period.

They finally found their shooting boots against Verona, but they could not keep their opponents out as they drew Most damagingly for Juventus, Inter have taken maximum points from their last three games compared to just one in nine for themselves.

And with Inter in action against Salernitana on Friday night, Juventus could be 10 points adrift of top spot by the time this game against Hellas Verona kicks off. It is too early to write the Old Lady out of the title race, but Inter are clearly in pole position to finish at the summit of the standings.

If they are not careful, Juventus could soon be overtaken by AC Milan in third place, with just a point separating those two teams ahead of matchday Even if they do not win the scudetto, it is important that Juventus finish the season strongly. Juventus need to get back on track - and we fancy their chances of doing so against Hellas Verona on Saturday.

He is under contract until the end of next term, but the experienced Italian is under pressure after the recent downturn in form. There have also been reports in the media that Allegri himself is considering stepping down at the conclusion of the campaign.

It was interesting to hear the Juventus ultras back the manager after the defeat by Udinese, even as certain players were jeered.

One of the main criticisms of Allegri is that his methods are increasingly out of step with the tactical vanguard of Claim Free Bets. A cautious coach who is much better at setting up a defence than an attack, Allegri would probably deem two banks of four to be recklessly gung-ho.

His teams have never been renowned for their free-flowing football, and Juve have been outscored by Inter, Milan, Atalanta and Roma this term. If Juventus can keep one, they should get the better of Hellas Verona.

Football fans hoping for a feast of attacking football at teatime on Saturday should probably look elsewhere. There have been an average of just 2. Hellas Verona often struggle to put the ball in the back of the net. They have scored just 21 goals up to now, the third-lowest tally in the division. They also rank in the bottom three for expected goals, which shows the creation of chances is as big a problem as the conversion of them.

Verona head into this match on a four-game winless streak, so confidence in the camp could be low. Only Lautaro Martinez, who is enjoying a magnificent season for Inter, has scored more goals in Serie A than Dusan Vlahovic.

He is usually the man the Bianconeri look at to make the difference in the final third. Vlahovic has 12 goals to his name so far. That is a solid if not spectacular tally, but he would surely be more prolific if Juventus created more chances.

Vlahovic is the type of striker who relies on service. He is not particularly in the mould of someone like Harry Kane, who excels at linking up with team-mates and creating chances for others.

Vlahovic is an out-and-out goalscorer and if Juventus can supply him with ammunition, we reckon he will be on target against a Hellas Verona team that has only kept one clean sheet in its last seven Serie A assignments. Greg Lea is a freelance football writer from London.
